Important: This page is maintained by the operator of Kolodko Map. Its purpose is to transparently present the data handling practices of the application.
1. What data do we handle?
The current version of the application primarily uses local storage (localStorage) to keep track of user settings, favourites and visited statues. This data stays in your browser and is not automatically transmitted to a server. If a sign-in option becomes available in the future, email addresses and profile data will be processed with separate notice.
2. Location
The map and route planner may use your browser's location service if you explicitly grant permission. GPS coordinates are processed only on your local device; we do not store or transmit them.
3. Cookies and analytics
The application may use anonymous operational cookies essential for basic functionality. Marketing or third-party tracking cookies are only placed with your prior consent. For details see the Cookie Policy.
4. Data retention and deletion
Data in local storage persists according to your browser settings. You can delete favourites, settings and history at any time in your profile or through your browser's data-clearing function. To delete all your data as a registered user, please contact us.
5. Your rights
Regarding your personal data you have the right to request information, correction, deletion or to object to its processing. The controller's identifying details and current contact information will be published in later versions of the application.
